Dr. Sanjay Saproo

Championing Patient Safety and quality Improvement.
  • Experience:

    20+ Years

I strive for and beleive in; that the relatively new domain of patient safety is moving to the forefront of health care as a critical concern shared by health care providers as well as regulators, accrediting bodies and patients. Twenty first century healthcare need the research and scientific study in patient safety while educating the masses on the basics of the patient safety is paramount to achieve a safe care across the continum. The bottom line for the organization and the individuals providing health care services to patients and their families is “do no harm.” This is as true for everyone today as it was for Hippocrates centuries ago. Even though I am advocating the cause of the patient safety, I still feel there is so much work to be done in changing the culture and just getting that information out-the job is never-ending.

“I think I can state that patient safety is probably the one area where we would all agree that we should be cooperating and not competing each other.
